About Me:

Hi, I’m Lila Krohner, I am from New Hartford, Connecticut and am currently 18 years old. I did dance for 10 years, up until I graduated high school. I have played other sports as a child but never stuck to any of them like I did to dance. When I wasn’t at dance class I would hang out with my friends, watch youtube, do my make up, or play with my golden retriever.

When I was younger I played soccer, softball, swim, gymnastics, tennis and dance. Every single one of those sports I hated except, dance. Dancing made me feel free. I was so passionate about it, when it came time for the recital I would just about jump out of my skin. I would be so nervous yet so excited to be preforming in front of hundreds of people. When it came to an end though and I had to say goodbye to my dance teacher I bawled my eyes out on stage. I hope someday dance will come back into my life.

Friends have been such a big part of my life. They are the people I can come to about ANYTHING. If I need to cry, laugh, rant, or just sit in silence it will always be with my best friends. They are the people I can be crazy with or they are the people I can be serious with. We always try to help each other and find ways to all be happy even if it’s a tough day. My friends are my second family and I don’t know what I would do without them.

Even though I can go to my friends about anything sometimes I just need a break and be by myself. When I am in these situations I usually watch youtube to distract myself from reality. I usually watch people do stupid things or I watch make up tutorials.

Ever since I started watching makeup tutorials on youtube I got really into it. I started buying hundreds of dollars worth of make up and I got a job at Panera Bread just so I could have my own money to buy make up. It was an art to me and I loved trying out new techniques and products. Doing make up is such a stress reliever and a distraction from reality as well.

A little over 4 years ago my dad finally let me and my sister get a dog. We heard of someone that went to our high school selling golden retriever puppies and we HAD to have one. When we went to go pick out which one we wanted a little guy came running up to my dad and started chewing on his toes. That was the one. My dad did all the paper work and off we went, a new addition has been added to the family. We decided naming the dog Ranger, don’t ask me why, my dad just really liked the name. I love Ranger to the end of time.
