The rubric helped me make sure my essay was written the way it should be. After reading the rubric and seeing that if I re-read my paper out loud it would help me find more mistakes and where I need to elaborate, and it did just that. Also in the rubric where it asked if any claim sentences paraphrased or summarized, it helped me catch a couple of mine doing that and I was able to fix it. Also, I didn’t catch any in this essay but the thing about “coyote paragraphs” opened my eyes to how I have done that in some of my past papers. Lastly it helped me organize my paragraphs so they would flow into one another.
